June is Internet Safety Month, which is dedicated to raising awareness around online safety.
The internet is an important part of our daily lives, helping us connect, learn, work, and stay informed. It's also important to stay vigilant and practice safe online habits to protect yourself, your family, and your personal information.
The Sawyer County Sheriff's Office encourages everyone to remember these internet safety tips:
✅ Use strong, unique passwords for your accounts.
✅ Enable two-factor authentication whenever possible.
✅ Be cautious of suspicious emails, texts, and links.
✅ Keep your devices and software updated.
✅ Think before you share personal information online.
✅ Talk with children and teens about safe and responsible internet use.
