🚲 We’re Still Looking for Volunteers This Week!
The Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WAMPO) is conducting its annual bike and pedestrian count September 16–19, and we still need volunteers at Main & Grand in Haysville!
This data helps WAMPO and the City of Haysville better understand how people travel throughout our community and plan for a more bike- and pedestrian-friendly Haysville.
📍 Available Volunteer Shifts:
• Wednesday, Sept. 16: 5:00–7:00 PM
• Thursday, Sept. 17: 5:00–7:00 PM
• Saturday, Sept. 19: 12:00–2:00 PM
Volunteers will spend a two-hour shift counting pedestrians, bicyclists, and others traveling without a vehicle. No experience is required! Training, instructions, and count forms will be provided.
