⏰❤️ The countdown is on! Monday marks the first day of school, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome our Bear Cubs back to Haymarket Elementary! Our staff had a blast creating this special video for our students and families to kick off the new school year. We can't wait to fill our halls with smiles, learning, and Bear Cub spirit. Check it out and get ready for a groovy year at HMES! 🐻📚✨

Haymarket ES volunteers learning to make dog and cat toys for the local shelter. These young leaders researched and learned that animals pictured with toys have higher adoption rates. They learned how to make toys and then taught others, resulting in over 415 toys and beds being donated to the local shelter. Many thanks for Youth Service America and The Hershey Company for granting us this opportunity.

Third graders enjoyed helping their community by making dog and cat toys for the local animal shelter during Global Youth Service Month.

HMES student volunteers made over 400 toys, cat beds, Adopt-Me bandanas, and collected pet food and supplies to aid in shelter pets finding loving homes. Many thanks for Youth Service America and The Hershey Company for granting us this opportunity.
