Spruce Summit Energy Storage Project Open House

Community members are invited to attend an open house for the proposed Spruce Summit Energy Storage Project. Hosted by Jupiter Power, this informal, drop-in event will provide information about the project, its potential benefits to Hayden and Routt County, and its role in supporting grid reliability. Representatives from Jupiter Power and battery fire safety experts will be available to answer questions. Food and refreshments will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to stop by whenever it is convenient.

Spraying/fogging typically takes place during the evening hours near sunset, but sprayings are weather depended and are subject to change. In the event of a schedule change due to weather we will update the community as soon as possible.

As mosquito spraying times approach, the Town of Hayden encourages residents to minimize standing water and tall grass around their properties to help reduce mosquito activity.

All drinking water, including bottled water, may reasonably be expected to contain at least small amounts of some contaminants. The presence of contaminants does not necessarily indicate that the water poses a health risk. More information about contaminants and potential health effects can be obtained by calling the Environmental Protection Agency’s Safe Drinking Water Hotline (1-800-426-4791) or by visiting epa.gov/ground-water-and-drinking-water.

Let's get messy! This six-week wheel-throwing class is perfect for beginners and experienced potters alike. Learn foundational techniques like centering, pulling, and shaping clay, while more advanced students refine forms and explore new skills. Each session offers 3 hours of hands-on weekly guided instruction, and individual feedback in a supportive, community studio environment. This class is perfect for beginners!

$275/student includes all materials and tools.
Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
Pieces will be fired at the end of the session and students will be notified when items are ready for pick up.
