🌐💻 Internet Safety 💻🌐

This month in the library, our students are learning all about how to be safe on the internet! We’re talking about making smart choices online, protecting personal information, being kind, and knowing what to do if something online makes them uncomfortable.

We want to partner with our families to help keep our students safe online at school and at home. ❤️

Please take a few minutes to look over the attached flyer for some simple internet safety tips you can talk about with your child.

Bus Students 🚌

Until the weather cools off, students will be allowed to have water on the bus under the following conditions:

🖤The water must be clear, unflavored water
🖤The water must be in a clear, disposable plastic bottle

News from our Nurse!

Good morning Hayden Primary School! In preparation for the upcoming year, the school nurse is accepting appointments for early medication drop off on Friday, July 31st and Monday, Aug 3rd, from 8:00-2:30. If you wish to drop off early, please email Nurse Stacy at [email protected] to schedule an appointment. We look forward to seeing you, it’s going to be an amazing year at HPS!🖤💛🐾

**Friendly Reminders:

Prescription medications: A Parent Prescriber Authorization Form (PPA) must be completed by the prescribing physician and delivered to the nurse by the parent at the same time as the medication. Medications will not be accepted without the PPA form. The state has updated the form and we kindly ask your MD to fill out the new form and return to us.
The PPA must match the pharmacy label. The dosage and instructions should be the same on both the form and bottle.
Each medication requires its own form. Example: Tylenol and Ibuprofen will require one form for each. EpiPen and Benadryl will require one form for each.

Finally, if you’re unable to drop off medications early, it’s okay to call the nurses office or email to make an appointment. Thank you so much for entrusting me with your kiddos!
