On Tuesday afternoon the Pre-K kids walked down to Pioneer Manor for story-time with the residents. We listened to Hailey Toof read 2 books about Ember, the dragon, who learns baking is better than gold! Then we finished up our time with a yummy snack and some conversations across generations. Hay Springs Public School is an excellent class D2 school district 20 miles east of Chadron, NE on HWY 20. Hay Springs Public School takes pride in its academics and activities. The school operates on a four day week (M-Th) throughout the year. We have an active and supportive school board and enjoy tremendous support from our community.

Thank you for the Febreze Plug-Ins and erasable pens! Both are indispensable in my classroom. It is always so nice to start the year knowing we have such amazing community support.
