Hello all,

Our recent spring getaway to Lake George was one to remember. The group enjoyed a full weekend of fun and adventure, including a visit to Fort William Henry, candle making, shopping around town, a boat ride on the lake, swimming and even a night of bowling! A special highlight of the weekend was reconnecting with an old friend, as well as a wonderful Saturday lunch at the Hirt’s house.

It was a great weekend for all, filled with laughter, new experiences, and of course fun!

Hello allo,

We wrapped up our final weekend of programs on such a high note! Over at Escapades, the group got into the festive spirit celebrating Cinco de Mayo! They made their own homemade guacamole, created themed crafts, and got moving with Miss Marlena for some great energy and fun. At Clubhouse, our kids made the most of their last day together. They lent a helping hand by planting vegetable seeds for our greenhouse—these plants will be cared for and enjoyed throughout summer camp. Thank you to everyone who pitched in! Our Fantastic Friends and adult participants kept the momentum going with our annual Garden Party. They spent time cleaning up the garden beds and greenhouse, planting flowers, getting creative with crafts, and of course, dancing the day away. A special thank you to Dream Dance Studio for joining us and bringing such joy and excitement to the day!

What an incredible way to close out the session. Check out some pictures from the weekend below!

Hello all,

What an eventful and memorable weekend across all of our programs!

At Clubhouse, the kids embraced the rainy weather with a cozy Pajama Day. They got creative in art by making their own sleep masks and even began working on some early Mother’s Day gifts, crafting beautiful flowers for someone special. Over at Escapades, the group kept the good vibes going by creating their own flower crowns, dancing along to music with Miss Marlena, and making their own homemade snacks. It was a great Saturday filled with creativity, movement, and fun.

The excitement continued into Sunday as North East athletes and coaches traveled to West Point for the annual Spring Games. It was a beautiful day and a true celebration of all the hard work our athletes have put in leading up to the competition.

A very special congratulations to our own athlete Mason, who was named this year’s Male Athlete of the Year. Mason also made history as the first North East athlete to compete in powerlifting, bringing home the gold with an incredible 485-pound deadlift. We are so proud of you, Mason!

Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed and earned medals and ribbons. Your dedication and effort continue to inspire us all. A heartfelt thank you as well to our coaches and volunteers who made this amazing weekend possible!

Hello all,

On Thursday night, our team got a visit from Bedford Police Department and Sergeant Nancy Valdovinos to spread the word about the Blue Envelope Program initiative.

This program is such an important step in creating safer, more understanding interactions between law enforcement and individuals with special needs. It provides peace of mind for families and helps ensure that everyone is treated with patience, respect, and care.

Hello all!

We hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend!

Even with the holidays, North East had an amazing opportunity to be part of Inclusion Night at the Westchester SC home game in Mount Vernon. Some of our athletes and coaches attended and even got the chance to high-five the players as they walked out onto the field. It was a great night for everyone and a truly special experience! Special thanks to Westchester SC for letting us be apart of this incredible night!

ALSO Summer camp registration is now open, so be sure to get your registration in as soon as possible. If you know anyone who may be interested in working at our summer camp, please send them our way!
