On March 24, hosted our Annual Salute to Education Lunch at the Proud Bird restaurant. We gathered with teacher awardees, principles and superintendents. 16 mini-grants were awarded to 16 very dedicated inspiring teachers.

This past Monday at the Hawthorne/LAX/Lennox Rotary meeting HLL Rotary had the honor of hosting two essential members of the El Camino College community; El Camino College President, Dr. Brenda Thames and Executive Directer of Marketing & Communications, Ann O’Brian

O’Brian shared with the club, how El Camino College is a leading institution, inspiring and supporting driven, striving, and talented individuals. O’Brian also stated, El Camino College is constantly creating opportunities to share and provide to the El Camino community

Shortly after HLL Rotary presented a check to establish an endowment which will begin funding scholarships in 2027

In spirit of service, we are collecting supplies to put together back packs and sensory bags for kiddos in our community. Bring your supplies to our event as we will have designated boxes for collection

Over 30 families in our community sponsored with about two weeks of groceries. Rotarians, Rotaracters, Interacters, friends, and family members got together on a Saturday morning to put together food boxes for our local community

hawthornelaxlennoxrotary has the honor of welcoming three new members to our organization. Joan, Phil, and a company membership Dr Schnierow Dental were all inducted into hawthornelaxlennoxrotary at our in person December meeting

So great to see our family growing. We were able to share good times and fun memories eating and playing white elephant gift exchange

This past Sunday Hawthorne/LAX/Lennox Rotary assisted the Hawthorne VFW feed the Veterans. Veterans are bussed to the VFW for a warm Thanksgiving meal, kind hospitality, and Bingo

Hawthorne/LAX/Lennox Rotary participates in this event every year alongside fellow Rotaracters, Interacters, and other members of the community.

We will be meeting at Jefferson Elementary School at 8:30am to begin assembling the food baskets

For those early birds that would like to join us early morning at the market, we will meet at Superior Grocers at 8:00am
