Last evening 560 was alerted to assist New Bethlehem fire for a working structure fire in Redbank TWP. Engine 560 tanker 560 both responded with a crew of 12. Engine 560 pull 2 lines and crews went to work putting out the fire. Tanker 560 supplied Engine 300. Thank you to Summerville Volunteer Firemens Association for standing by to cover the valley. Great job to everyone working this fire.

This evening Hawthorn Area Volunteer Fire Department - Station 560 was alerted for and explosion/ structure fire. Units searched the area and found nothing. Upon further reports no incident was found. A big thank you to New Bethlehem Fire Company #1 Distant Area Volunteer Fire Department Dayton fire department and clarion ems for assisting us this evening.

Update 28 is open both ways and both oversized loades have been removed.

RT 28 is down to one lane in Hawthorn boro due to an oversized load taking down power lines. Use caution in that area.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Numerous trees and wires have been reported down along this line of
