Mrs. Tjaden’s 5th grade class visited Valley Premier Bank last week, who serves as their business partner. During the visit, students learned about different parts of the banking world and how banks operate. At the end of their experience, each student received commemorative Minnesota quarters. Thank you for being such a supportive partner to our students and school community!

A fun field trip wrap-up! 🎉
Our 1st graders had a great day in Detroit Lakes at the DLCCC! Students enjoyed a movie, explored the children’s museum, and had some fun playing at the park.
We’re so thankful to have such great attractions and experiences for our students just a short trip away! 💛 Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center

On Friday, our elementary students celebrated at the Elementary Awards Program! 🌟 There were a variety of awards given across many different areas of achievement.
Mrs. Hollman recognized our Honor Band students, and Ms. Meyer recognized our Youth Choir students. We also celebrated many AR milestones, including 500, 1,000, 2,000, and even an impressive 3,000-point club award! 📚👏 Our 5th & 6th Grade Math Masters students were recognized for their awesome achievements.
Our 4th grade students received reading and math awards, and Mr. Ellingson presented several 6th graders with Silver and Gold Academic Achievement Awards.
Great work, everyone — we are so proud of all of your hard work and accomplishments! ❤️

Our students at Spring Prairie hosted their very first Art Show! 🎨✨ Students in grades K–12 participated in the exhibit, showcasing a collection of paintings, ceramics, detailed crafts, and so much creativity. It was an absolute blast to see all of the talent on display!
