Students in Mrs. Borders' English II course recently completed a cold case investigation prior to reading Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Students were asked to analyze evidence in groups and then determine who they believed to be the true mastermind behind the murder of Julius Caesar. Groups delivered their verdicts in a grand jury format, presenting evidence and explanations to support their arguments.

Students in Mrs. Murphy's Legal Environment of Business course recently completed research and produced a podcast on the topic "What did America learn from 9/11?" Students were tasked with reporting on a change in law, government power, individual rights, business, or national security. Research findings were shared in a podcast format.

During Mrs. Maddox’s Basic Agriscience and Animal Science classes, students learned about FFA basics. To experience CDEs (Career Development Events) within FFA, a mock competition with their classmates was held. Each group participated in a competition for Floriculture, Nursery Landscape, Ag Mechanics, Wildlife, Livestock Evaluation, Poultry Evaluation, and Meats Evaluation. Students had to complete their task and lock in their answers for each CDE before the timer was up. The team winners from each class will receive cupcakes!
