In light of recent incidents, we at Haw River Police Department urge all residents and property owners to develop the nightly habit of helping prevent becoming a victim of theft.

✔️ Remove valuables from vehicles
✔️ Lock vehicle doors
✔️ Secure doors and windows to your home
✔️ Don't leave garage door openers in vehicles
✔️ Turn on exterior lights
✔️ Install/turn on cameras & alarm systems

Haw River Police Officers proactively patrol our town's neighborhoods to identify and prevent criminal activity. The department's efforts are enhanced by the active involvement of our citizens. Please report suspicious activity in your area by calling 911 or the Haw River Police Department at (336)578-4141.

Today, our very own Officer Council ran the annual Special Olympics Torch Run relay through the town of Haw River with our neighboring agency, the Graham Police Department. We thank you all for your support and for running the relay with us.

The offices will reopen Tuesday morning at 8am.
