We are partnering with Stokes Market for a Back to School Backpack Drive. Go into Stokes and purchase school supplies and backpacks for children that need help getting these supplies. This is a great way to help start out the school year for kids.

We are collecting school supplies/backpacks for our back to school program. Drop off boxes are at Independence Bank, Walmart (Stuff the Bus), The Salvation Army Family Store and the Emergency Service office. Thank you for helping us make a difference in kids lives!

The Salvation Army is gearing up for their Back-to-School Campaign. We are asking businesses to help support us by collecting schools supplies for those in need in the Havre area. We plan to do an ad listing the businesses that are willing to collect. If you do not feel that you can do a collection box in your business, we are also taking monetary donations. Please consider how you could help us with this program as we are reaching out to children and families that are having a tough time getting supplies for the start of school this fall.

We are asking businesses and individuals to sponsor kids by donating $150 a child for clothing. The selected children will go with a volunteer to Walmart and shop together. Last year, we helped 24 children with new back to school clothes. The parents and kids were very excited and thankful for this program. Please help us make a difference in children’s lives by sponsoring a child.

Sponsorship Levels:

$150 – Bronze sponsor 1 child
$450 – Silver sponsor 3 children
$750 – Gold sponsor 5 children
$1,000 or above – Platinum 6 or more children
