At SOAR (Summer Outreach Advising & Registration), you'll register for classes by appointment. Can't make it in-person? No problem! Phone call appointments are available too!

Come in-person and not only will you get registered for classes, you will also get your Student ID and NetID, meet with Financial Aid, sign up for Housing, connect with the Career Center, Student Support Services, and Accessibility Services, sign up for Navigate Northern Days, and take care of your Insurance & Tuition Payment Form.

We have campus tours at 10:00 AM & 11:30 AM for you to jump on too!

Our community is hurting, and no one should have to carry that pain alone. 💙 The public is invited to an important community healing event on Monday, May 18 at 7:00 PM in the SUB Ballroom at MSU-Northern.

This gathering comes in response to the recent su***de losses affecting our Northern and Havre communities. Many are carrying grief they don’t know how to talk about, feel afraid to bring up, or wonder if anyone truly sees. This evening is not a crisis meeting — it is a space for healing, connection, learning, and hope.

The evening will include:
• A moment to acknowledge what we’ve lost and give ourselves permission to grieve openly
• An educational discussion on the unique challenges of su***de grief, including survivor guilt, the contagion effect in small communities, and ways to support those most at risk
• Small group conversations led by trained facilitators focused on what we can do for our youth, for one another, and to honor those we’ve lost

Guests will leave with practical next steps, and resources will be available throughout the evening. Come as you are. You are not alone. 💙
