She is owned by Chesapeake Heritage Conservancy in Havre de Grace, MD and is currently finishing a major restoration at Georgetown Yacht Haven. Skipjack Martha Lewis was built in 1955 in Wingate, MD by Bronza Parks along with 2 other Skipjacks Rosie Parks and Lady Katie - they are known as the Three Sisters. Whether aboard the Martha Lewis for a public sail or for a school field trip - this majestic vessel will transport you to a time when thousands of these vessels sailed the Chesapeake Bay

Today we mourn the passing of our dear friend and dedicated Martha Lewis Restoration Coordinator, Dennis Taylor. Dennis has been a tireless and shining star for over a decade. Bringing the Martha Lewis back to life was one of his great joys. We will miss him immensely!!! As we learn of funeral arrangements we will pass that information along to you.
