On Monday the crew along with the other Bureau of Fire companies attended the annual Haverford Township Memorial Day service. We pause to remember our own member Ashton Geipel who was killed protecting our freedom.

The last 24 hours have been busy for our members responding to 6 incidents and operating for almost 7 hours collectively. At 8pm the Engine and Rescue responded to Upper Darby for a house fire. Just after midnight Squad 56 responded to Station 15 Radnor to cover while they operated at a house fire. Shortly after arriving the Squad was dispatched to the scene on the second alarm. Thank you to our members who responded on the incidents and those who covered our local during them.

Squad 56 and Ladder 35 (Brookline) were dispatched for the cover assignment at Station 15 on the working fire dispatch. 4 mins after arriving they were called to the scene. Crews assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. Squad 56 was in service for over 3 hours prior to returning to town.

Today we welcomed a past member from the 1960s Doug Paulin for a tour of the current station and apparatus. Doug brought his photo album from his time to share with Chief Norman and Chief Emeritus Norman.

It was great to see the past apparatus photos and hear many long standing names of the company shared.

Today our company was dispatched to assist on a large brush fire and house fire in the same area simultaneously. During the incident a large piece of a tree fell from above striking a member of Manoa in the head. The injured member was treated on scene EMS and transported to a local Trauma Center. We would like to thank those on scene who assisted our member and the members of Middletown Fire Company No. 1 for covering our company.
