was founded in 1977 by William Desmarais and Gary Rudis, two young respiratory therapists working at the former Saint John's Hospital in Lowell, MA. Bill and Gary recognized a need in the community for patients to have oxygen and respiratory services in their homes. With a focus on quality patient care Home Care Specialists was born. Over the years the company has grown from its founding fathers t

o nearly 100 employees with locations in MA, NH, and ME. Our expansive fleet can be seen daily traversing our service area, providing services to patients from north of Boston to seacoast to southern Maine and all points in between. is the preferred provider for a large number of healthcare facilities, hospice programs, visiting nurse associations, and physicians.
