Early this morning a delivery truck caught a low hanging communications line in the 200 block of East 4th. Brightspeed and Ideatek systems are down in some areas of the city. North Sedgwick Ave is closed to through traffic from Main Street to Fourth street. There is a heavy presence of utility workers and trucks in the area. Please avoid it if possible. At this time, there is no ETA of restoration of services. Please be patient as they work on getting service restored.

Scammers going to scam. We are getting messages from locals with this same letter. It is a SCAM!!! Please do not send them any money. They are getting better at making things look legit. When in doubt, double check the actual courts not just what is listed on the letter.

This bicycle has been turned in at the police station. It was found in the alley behind the credit union and not rideable. It has been back there for weeks and nobody has claimed it or reported it missing. If it is not claimed by April 25th, it will go to recycling.
