2025 National First Responders Day
National First Responders Day is a day to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary dedication of first responders nationwide. Officially designated by the U.S. Congress, this day honors the bravery, selflessness, and unwavering service of the heroes who protect and serve our communities every day. Join us in paying tribute to first responder heroes across the USA.

Support for traditional first responders: Public works teams enable police, fire, and EMS to access affected areas by clearing roads and debris.
Restoration of services: They are responsible for restoring and maintaining essential services like drinking water, power, and sanitation after a disaster.
Direct action: They often are the first on the scene to begin recovery and repair efforts, such as snow removal in winter or flood cleanup.
