I was contacted again by city inspectors. He actually came up to my employee and hit him in the side of the head to get his attention. He said "get out of here boy, what your doing is illegal"! He further told him to quit his job and not to come back. This was fine because he was in front of my store in s cell phone costume trying to get attention from passing motorist.... I contacted him And he informed me that it was illegal to have temporary signs in front of businesses.... I argued with him snd explained that we have a guy in costume, not a temporary sign. I then get a visit from his supervisor stating the sane thing. I requested to see the ordinance or to know which I was violating. The supervisor said that've didn't know which law it is but fit me to stop by his office and he will look it up... Really, you are hard adding me, a business owner just trying to legally conduct business and you don't even know which jaw I am breaking...the mayor won't see me, but I was able to speak with a person that works in the council members office. She said that she thought this is ridiculous and called back to confirm that the city attorney found no violations with costumes. It's agreed by all that we have out of control, overzealous inspectors that need to do their job and work on important issues rather than harass business owners! I am going to do all that I can to have the sign ordinances changed so that they don't choke down business owners!!! Please help by liking page and support me to change things like this!!!!! The little guy needs to be heard and not bullied by government.... They are here to work for us! They are hired by us, the taxpayer to do their job and not bulky folks that are trying hard to just make an honest living!!!! Thanks, Joel
