The Summers are incredibly busy anymore as we attempt to finish so many school systems in the short time before the kids start back.

Do you remember when we got out in late May and then started back in early September? That was a little over three months!

That’s why that Algebra kept slipping my mind, I had totally forgotten it🤷‍♂️😇

A big thank you to everyone in the crew for working so hard in the heat…y’all are terrific!

The last quarter of 2024 is a special time for our company since it will be our best year ever!

I have owned Mississippi Fire and Safety for 44 years this month and I can proudly say that we have become a trusted mainstay in our industry.

Overnight success often occurs in 20 or 30 years!

Tomorrow is December 7th and is, of course, the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by Japanese military forces.

I went there in 1972 while stationed at Hickam AFB and the thing that I noticed right away was the sacred silence of those visiting the USS Arizona.

I remember thinking that young men had died here and because of them I was a free man. Free to worship, free to speak, due process of law….the most freedoms ever assembled in one country.

They did that. They and those in Europe, the Pacific and every other place where people stood against tyranny.

I promised myself that day I would never forget. I never have.

Complacency is the enemy of excellence.

We have an accomplished team at Mississippi Fire. That is the result of a well-trained and organized group of people who have become family in the pursuit of a common goal.

By virtue of this, we have climbed to the top. Cities, industries, businesses small and large seek out our services and we are most grateful for their trust. Mississippi Fire has earned it’s good reputation.

But you know what? Trust and excellence is a daily goal. What we did right yesterday has to be duplicated today. And tomorrow.

Hence, complacency is our enemy. Find a way to be better than you are.

Can you believe the year is half gone?

The fears of an unprecedented pandemic fade as the greatest nation on the face of the Earth was wounded but survived. We go on with renewed and redoubled hope.

We are America….

But understand, our most lethal danger resides within our shores. Whom? You can see them for what they are.

They fear freedom. They fear individual thought and action. They lobby for groupthink and perversion and indoctrination.

And mostly, they fear Godly people and Christian morality.

As a business owner, I stand for America and against the corrosion of low morals and for the upbringing of our children in the old paths of Jeremiah.

May God richly bless the USA!
