Established in 1979 as an outreach ministry of the Hattiesburg District of the Mississippi Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, Edwards Street Fellowship Center serves an urban community on the southeast side of Hattiesburg. The ministry is centered on the commitment to strengthening families and individuals and meeting special needs in the community. The ministry of ESFC is made poss

🫐 Calling all blueberry pickers!🫐 The rain has our bushes loaded with berries. We need volunteers to come on weekdays in June & early July to pick berries so we can get the healthy fruit into our food pantry bags.

Berry-pickin’ season runs from later this week through early July. These blueberries are such a delicious, nutritious treat for our food pantry clients!

What a great kickoff with Mayor Toby Barker proclaiming May 9, 2026, “Stamp Out Hunger Day” in Hattiesburg. Petal Mayor Tony Ducker & Forrest County Board of Supervisors President Terri Bell also endorsed this food drive benefiting Christian Services, Edwards Street, Petal Children’s Task Force, Salvation Army Hattiesburg, & South Forrest County Food Pantry.

Check your mailbox for a blue Community Bank collection bag. 👀 Fill the bag with canned goods, then leave it by your mailbox Saturday for your mail carrier to pick up!
