Years after retirement, Donna and I are still grateful for every one of you—for your dedication, your sacrifices, and the memories we created together. Whether we were deployed far from home or sharing laughs on the training lanes, we forged bonds that time and distance cannot break.

This Christmas, I encourage you to remember the values we upheld and the brotherhood we built. Reach out to a fellow troop you haven’t heard from in a while, lift up those who might be struggling, and honor those who can no longer be with us. Their courage and sacrifice are never forgotten.

May this season bring you peace, joy, and the warmth of family and friends. From our home to yours, may God reach down and bless each of you this Christmas season.

Earlier this week Regina Ficklin, wife of SFC (Ret) Garvin Ficklin passed away unexpectedly at their home in Hartselle, AL.
