This post won't get many likes. In fact, it will probably get ignored.
The only posts that seem to get people's attention are the ones with a flag being raised or showing pictures of our residents who might not look like your uncle.
But these red lines are more than just lines on a map.
They illustrate the commitment of the Hatfield Commissioners to pave almost every Township road over the past 15 years. The last 12 without a tax increase.
The red lines represent consistency, budgetary discipline, and an understanding of one of the core responsibilities of local government.
A quick note on the map: the black line is the Township border, blue lines are County roads, green lines are State roads, and many private roads are not colored.
We are proud to be an inclusive community that celebrates the people who call Hatfield home.
And we're particularly proud of the team that quietly does the everyday work of maintaining and improving this community behind the scenes, hopefully far away from the comments on Facebook.
