Over the course of two severe weather events on June 10th and June 11th, the team at Barry County Central Dispatch experienced a dramatic increase in call volume, radio traffic, and incident activity as storms moved through Barry County.

Behind every call, radio transmission, and CAD incident is a dispatcher coordinating resources, gathering critical information, supporting first responders in the field, and helping keep our community safe during rapidly changing conditions.

The attached infographics compare activity during each storm event to a typical weekday during the same timeframe and highlight the tremendous workload handled by our team.
