The Hastings Police Department is now conducting business on the main floor of Hastings City Hall throughout the rehabilitation period. There are signs that will guide people to where our front desk personnel are located. There is signage on the elevator and main entrance to assist you to our temporary location.

Our phone number has not changed, (269) 945-5744, and we will still be able to assist with all regularly performed functions. As always, Barry Central Dispatch is able to take complaints. The non-emergency phone number is (269) 948-4800 option 1.

***ATTENTION***

On 5/11/2026, the Hastings Police Department will be undergoing a renovation project. The construction will render our 2nd floor office space unusable. Police Department operations will continue through this period, but we will be operating out of the 1st floor City Hall area between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Phone access will remain between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. The non-emergency line will remain available 24/7. In the event of an emergency please call 911.

The 2nd floor will remain accessible for Counsil and other meetings. There will be signage indicating the location of Hastings Police Department personnel inside the City Hall space.
