Washington County Water Patrol has informed us that they will be stepping up patrol and enforcement of damage done by passing boats that throw out wakes. If you see a boat causing a damaging wake, they ask that you try to film the boat and if possible, it's registration letters/numbers or documented name, with your phone.

Whether you have film or not, call the non-emergency line and ask for a water patrol to respond and report the incident: 651-439-9381.

If they can ID the boat, they will search out the boat and if appropriate, cite the boater.
Boaters are responsible for any damage caused by wakes.
