๐Ÿ†๐Ÿš“ Battle of the Badges 2026 Champions: Hastings Police Department! ๐Ÿš“๐Ÿ†

Final score HPD 70/HFR 55

Weโ€™re not saying the Fire Department got smokedโ€ฆ but we are saying they might need a little more practice rolling up their sleeves. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿš’

In all seriousness, todayโ€™s blood drive was a huge success, and thatโ€™s because of this incredible community. Every person who took time out of their day to donate blood helped save lives, and thatโ€™s what this event is really about. โค๏ธ๐Ÿฉธ

A friendly rivalry between badges is fun, but the true winners are the patients and families who will benefit from these life-saving donations. Whether you wore blue, red, or just showed up to help, thank you for making a difference.

And to our friends at the Fire Department, thanks for being great sports. Weโ€™ll try not to polish the trophy too much before next year. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ†๐Ÿš’

From all of us at Hastings PD: thank you to every donor, volunteer, organizer, and supporter who made today possible. Your generosity will have an impact far beyond today.

๐Ÿฉธ One community.
๐Ÿš“ One team.
๐Ÿš’ One mission.

They say better late than never, and when it comes to donating blood, every donation counts! โค๏ธ

Thereโ€™s still a little time left to make a difference. Stop by the Hastings City Auditorium and help save lives before the day is done. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฉธ

Not all heroes wear a badge or ride in a patrol car!

Our very own Administrative Assistant, Lisa Dirks, is making a difference today by donating blood during the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. Lisa keeps our department running behind the scenes every day, and today she's helping save lives in our community as well. ๐Ÿฉธโค๏ธ

We're grateful for team members like Lisa who lead by example and show that everyone can make an impact.

๐Ÿš”๐Ÿฉธ Come join the Hastings Police Department today at the City Auditorium until 6:00 PM and help save lives by donating blood!

We're kicking off our annual Battle of the Badges, where we once again go head-to-head with Hastings Fire & Rescue. Now, we all know firefighters are great at putting out fires... but can they handle the heat of this competition? ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜‰

Every donation counts, and your support helps make a difference for patients in need throughout our community. Stop by, roll up a sleeve, and help Team HPD bring home the bragging rights this year!

Thank you Officer Morgenstern, for the first on-duty officer donation of the day!

Who's got your voteโ€”๐Ÿš” Police or ๐Ÿš’ Fire?
