Otis Farm Bird Sanctuary

This 128-acre bird sanctuary hosts rolling fields, mature forest, expansive marshland, a stream, kettle hole marshes, and several springs.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped us plant 250 native plugs in an area that was previously overrun with multiflora rose.

Native plant diversity is vital to both ecosystem and bird health. Native plant diversity supports native insect diversity, which means more diverse food sources for birds throughout the year.

Can’t wait to see this area transform! More plantings to come!

We received our first donation for the new kiosk at Otis. Thank-you so much to our generous donors! You can help too by donating or by purchasing some locally-made bird art at david-wilcox.square.site

Friends, we are doing a fundraiser to construct a new kiosk with updated maps and information at the parking lot at Otis. We are working with a local artist to sell his beautiful wood keychains, magnets, and window hangers. A percentage of the sales will go toward the new kiosk.
