Please join JCT in welcoming Leigh Whelan to our Trailblazer Family. She will be serving as our new School Counselor!

Leigh brings 23 years of experience in education, including 19 years as a classroom teacher serving students from 2nd through 10th grade and 4 years as a school counselor. Her passion for supporting students and helping them thrive makes her a wonderful addition to our team.

Outside of school, Leigh enjoys reading, spending time with her fur babies, spoiling her two beautiful granddaughters, and watching true crime television. She is the proud mother of three grown children and grandmother to two precious granddaughters.

One of Leigh’s favorite quotes is: “Don't hope that events will turn out the way you want, welcome events in whichever way they happen: this is the path to peace.”
