Traffic Alert - Haskell City Limits
SEAL COAT

Seal coat operations continue today on US 380 in Haskell city limits. Expect intermittent lane closures with a pilot vehicle to direct the work zone.

Expect seal coat to continue this week in Haskell County to the Throckmorton County Line.

The Civic Center is an important gathering place for our community, and I’d love to see us continue finding new ways to use it, bring people together, and make it an even better asset for Haskell.

You do not have to have experience, if you have ideas, enjoy helping with events, or simply want to get more involved in our community, this could be a great opportunity for you!

UPDATE - 1:20 PM - Gas leak is plugged and the smell should begin to disburse and be gone fairly soon.

11:15pm: South Ave G around the 200 Block is closed to traffic. Please use alternative routes to the Elementary School.

🚨 GAS LEAK ALERT – SOUTH SIDE OF HASKELL 🚨

A contractor has struck a gas main on the south side of town. An odor of natural gas may be noticeable in the area off the 200 block of South Ave G.

The gas company is on scene assessing the situation. Please avoid the affected area and follow any instructions from emergency personnel.

Further information will be released as it becomes available. Please share this notice with neighbors who may not see this post.

🚛 City-Wide Curbside Bulk Pick-Up Begins October 5th!

It’s time to clean out those garages, sheds, and backyards! The City of Haskell will begin city-wide curbside bulk pick-up on October 5th.

🗓 Deadline to be added to the pick-up list:
October 1st at Noon

📞 To participate, please call City Hall at 940-864-2333 to have your address added to the list and to ask any questions.

⏰ Important:
All bulk items must be placed at the curb by 7:00 AM on October 5th.

Take advantage of this opportunity to clear out unwanted items and freshen up your property.
