For the month of October 2025, Haskell Fire Department responded to a total of 41 calls for assistance, breaking down as follows: 20 medical calls supporting MCEMS, 2 Motor Vehicle Accidents, 3 calls to public service, and 16 Fires encompassing structures, grass, vehicles, and smoke investigations.

The Haskell Fire Department is throwing a sugar fest at their station from 5pm-8pm tonight, and because one candy fix isn't enough, firefighters will also be handing out treats at Haskell's homecoming football game tonight, near the north end of the football field, starting at 6:30 until they run out or the game ends.

Bring the kids and celebrate Halloween early tonight at Rieger Memorial Library! We will be here handing out candy and gifts until 7:00 tonight. There are also games and cotton candy inside.

Over the next few weeks you may see our firefighters out around town doing hydrants tests and painting hydrants. Please give them room as they will be pulled over on the side of the road.

Today is the dayyyyy❤️‍🔥 come out, support a good cause, and see the fire trucks! 🚒 We will draw the winner of the Dragons Lair @3!!
