Today is one of those days that reminds me just how grateful I am to be an American. I never take for granted the freedoms we enjoy or the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve our country. Because of them, we have the opportunity to gather with family and friends, celebrate our traditions, and enjoy the simple moments that make life so special. I also feel incredibly blessed to be part of Hasbrouck Heights. Serving as your councilperson is truly an honor, and I am thankful every day for the opportunity to work alongside so many kind, caring, and dedicated people who make our town a wonderful place to call home. As the fireworks light up the sky tonight, I hope they remind us not only of our nation’s independence but also of the strength that comes from neighbors looking out for one another, lending a helping hand, and taking pride in where we live. Happy Independence Day, and God Bless Hasbrouck Heights, our military, and God Bless the United States of America!! ❤️🇺🇸💙
