We kicked off a special Community Storytelling activity at last night’s Summer Reading Celebration. Each participant hears the last line that’s been added and then gets to add theirs. This community-created, one-of-a-kind story will be shared by Ashley at our Connect and Grow! Storytelling Festival taking place on July 14th! Want to be part of the creative action? Give us a shout- give us a call! And save the date to hear this story and more at the second annual Connect and Grow! Storytelling Festival! ❤️📖

Ashley is super excited to be part of this summer kick-off event! Stories take us places and help connect us. Reading aloud to others builds positive bonds and is important to keep doing even after someone has learned to read independently!!
We’ve got a special community storytelling activity that will begin tonight- come be part of the fun!📖❤️

Using your senses is a great coping skill! We can use our senses to help us in different ways. Tuning into our senses grounds us in the present moment. We can also build awareness of what experiences help us fell calm- think the sound of birdsong, or the smell of the ocean, or swinging on a swing. Use this worksheet to help you build awareness!
