Last month, the Affordable Housing Trust (AHT) kicked off their meeting with JM Goldson Community Preservation + Planning who responded to a solicitation to develop an Action Plan for the Trust. This Action Plan is a planning document that will provide strategic guidance regarding the Trust's housing initiatives. Jennifer Goldson has been active in the housing and community preservation space on Cape Cod, most recently in Eastham and Provincetown.
The Action Plan discussion with JM Goldson Community Preservation + Planning was followed by a presentation from Bohler Engineering and Laura Shufelt from MA Housing Partnership. Bohler Engineering conducted an assessment of the 265 Sisson Road property, a 1.1-acre parcel that houses the former recreation building that is currently leased by the Cape Cod Theater Company and Harwich Junior Theater. It was noted that this site can accommodate at least 16 units.
Don't miss this month's AHT meeting tomorrow, Thursday, February 13th at 2 pm in the Griffin Room, Town Hall.
