Local 2176 has been in existence for several years and its purpose is to represent the Savannah District employees - those who are eligible (membership is not required) to be a union member. Our union officers are Savannah District employees and know what it is like to be a government employee and that sometimes things at work happen and to have someone to help resolve an issue or work toward imp

lementing a good idea is a tremendous advantage. If your are one of the 350 or so *employees working the Savannah District or the St. Are you a powerplant worker? A construction representative? Park Ranger (depends on job series) or anyone in the district who is a permanent employee and does not hold a supervisory or professional series position? If so, then Locla 2176 is your union! Whether you are a member of Local 2176 - we are your representative and we take this role very seriously.
