The Hartwell Police Department is proud of two of our School Resource Officers and Community Outreach team members, Officer Keith Cheek and Officer Christy Worthy, for making a difference at the Hydra of Hart County Day Camp Pancake Event.

These two officers are always willing to go the extra mile to invest in and encourage the youth of our community. Building positive relationships with our young people is what community policing is all about, and they represent our department with professionalism, compassion, and heart.

Thank you, Officer Cheek and Officer Worthy, for your outstanding service and for representing the Hartwell Police Department well.

The hot weather didn't stop Ofc.Coty Martin from taking time to make a special memory for little Macaleigh Hughes

Macaleigh wanted to meet a police officer, and she had the opportunity to meet one of our very best!

Moments like these remind us that community policing is about much more than answering calls, it's about building relationships, inspiring our youth, and making a positive difference.

Thank you, Officer Martin, for your outstanding commitment to serving our community, your positive attitude, and for taking the time to make Macaleigh's day.

Officers at Work! ⚾

We would like to recognize Cpl. Trevor Purser and Ofc. Taylor Hart for their commitment to the Hartwell Police Department and the City of Hartwell.

It makes us proud to see these two officers giving back to our community to play baseball with Macedonia United Methodist Church. Their willingness to serve reflects the character, leadership, and community spirit that make our department proud.

Good afternoon, Hart County School scholars and families!

Today is Open House across the Hart County School System, and we are excited to welcome everyone back!

As you travel to and from schools this evening, please be patient, stay alert, and watch for increased traffic, pedestrians, and children around our campuses. Let's all do our part to keep everyone safe.

To all of our students, the Hartwell Police Department wishes you an amazing school year. Study hard, be kind to one another, and always do your very best.

On behalf of the City of Hartwell and the Hartwell Police Department, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported the Bubba Burger Benefit Fundraiser for Mrs. Audrey Segars.
