“”THE WHY””

Family, friends, and the future of Hart county!!! Being involved in my daughter’s journey along with many other kids motivated me to encourage those that may not have the encouragement that they deserve!!!

Being an influence in these kids lives day in and day out gives me purpose, these kids encourage me more than I do them sometimes! There is a better future ahead of them, sometimes they just need someone on the sidelines to pick them up when they’re not having their best day!

Talking with students, athletes and teachers day in and day out I like to think I’m on the front lines with them! I will embrace being a voice for them! Thank you district 2 for giving me the opportunity to serve our community. I promise not to let you all down!

I want to give a special shout out to my family for standing beside me throughout this journey that we’ve been on! I love yall so much and I’m so thankful for the support from all of you! I can’t name them all but you know who you are!

I am truly honored and humbled by the support shown throughout this election. Thank you to everyone who voted, encouraged, volunteered, prayed, and believed in me during this journey.

Winning a seat on the Board of Education is a responsibility I do not take lightly. I look forward to serving our students, teachers, parents, and community with integrity, transparency, and dedication. Together, we can continue building a strong future for our schools and our children. All while considering the hard earned tax payers dollars!

Thank you again for your trust and support. I am excited to get to work for our community!

Long day today at the region track meet but I’m so proud of all of our athletes that competed today! Our track and field program has a very bright future with a lot of great athletes and coaches!

My daughter, Madi Bennett done outstanding today medaling in 3 events and moving onto sectionals in high jump, the 4x1 relay, and the 4x2 relay!!! We are so proud of her and it hurts knowing that today was the last time she will compete in a regional event for Hart County High School…😢 Kenny Chesney said it best…
“Don’t Blink”!

Congratulations to all the athletes again! I love watching you guys lay it all on the table for your school!!!

Hart County High School Anglers Kain Norris and Cooper Sanders have punched their ticket to the prestigious Major League Fishing (MLF) High School National Championship and World Championship on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky after reeling in the 2026 The Bass Federation (TBF) Georgia State Championship April 4 on Lake Hartwell.

With early voting starting next week, and the primary election date only 36 days away, I’ve had to reflect on the “WHY”….? Why I would like to be involved, why I love these kids, why do I want to encourage those who have little or no one in their corner…?

The “WHY”…. I want to encourage those who aren’t getting the support that has always been targeted to certain areas/students. As a child when I attended the High School in hart county, there was never enough support! Thankfully, in the recent years, people have stepped up and I’m thankful to be a part of that crowd!

Win or lose the election I will continue to serve the youth in this community and encourage them to do their best job on their worst days!!!💪
