🎃🍂 IT’S PUMPKIN TIME, HARTSHORNE! 🍂🎃

We want to see what YOU can create! 👀✨ Our Pumpkin Decorating Contest is coming to the library, and we’re calling on our wonderfully creative community to get decorating! 🎨🎀🧵

Grab a real or artificial pumpkin and turn it into something AMAZING using paint, fabric, ribbons, markers, or whatever creative materials you can dream up! The only rule? NO carved pumpkins! 🚫🔪🎃

And guess what? There are multiple age groups, so EVERYONE is encouraged to participate! Kids, teens, adults, families... we want to see those pumpkins! 🧡

📋 IMPORTANT: You must come to the library to pick up your entry slip before entering. Your completed entry slip must be returned with your decorated pumpkin when you turn it in!

📅 Entries are due by October 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM

Stop by the library to pick up your contest rules, entry slip, and all the details. Can't make it in? No problem! Give us a call and we'll be happy to email the information and entry form to you. 📧

In this fun and interactive program, children will learn the basics of healthy eating! We’ll explore how different foods help our bodies grow strong, give us energy, and keep us feeling our best. Because we are currently without water, the library must close today. We’re sorry for the unexpected change and any inconvenience this may cause.

But don’t worry; the celebration is still on! 🎉 Our Kids and Teens Game-Palooza party has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 8th at 3:30 PM. Please mark your calendars for the new date and time!

We’ll still have treats, video games, and plenty of fun as we celebrate Hartshorne’s first-place Turbo Tournament victory! 🏆🎮🍪
