This wonderful quote from Dolly Parton comes from the final farewell letter when a child receives their last book in the Imagination Library. It gives my heart an aching feeling when I realize how many children's lives she impacted with this program. That's a legacy.

📢 City of Hartselle Labor Day Holiday Schedule

The City of Hartselle wishes everyone a safe and happy Labor Day weekend! In observance of Labor Day, all non-emergency City offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Please note the following garbage collection shcedule changes during Labor Day week:
•Monday through Wednesday garbage routes will run one day late.
•Thursday's garbage route will run on its regular schedule.

🌿There will be NO yard waste collection this week.
🏞️The landfill will be closed from Saturday, September 5, 2026, through Monday, September 7, 2026.

🇺🇸 We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Labor Day holiday as we honor the hard work and contributions of our workforce.
