🚧⚠️ Paving Work Near Crestline Elementary ⚠️🚧

Beginning Friday at 7:00 a.m., paving crews will be working in the area around Crestline Elementary.

Work will begin on Cooper Lane, with crews continuing to other nearby streets as progress allows. Due to the nature of paving operations, the schedule and work locations may change.

‼🚗Motorists and parents should plan ahead for potential traffic impacts during the morning drop-off period and throughout the day. Please allow extra travel time, follow traffic control measures, and use caution when traveling through the area.

Heads up, Hartselle! On Thursday, September 10, City crews will be completing road work on Moss Chapel Road and Bonnie Dale Lane beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Drivers may experience intermittent road closures and detours throughout the day while the work is underway. The project is expected to be completed by 4:30 p.m.

If you travel in this area, please plan for a little extra time and follow all posted traffic signs and directions from crews on site.

🥏 Sparkman Park is getting even better!!

Thanks to funding provided by State Senator Arthur Orr, the Lakeside Disc Golf Course is receiving 18 new baskets as part of ongoing improvements designed to enhance one of Hartselle’s favorite recreational spaces.

These upgrades will improve the playing experience today while creating new opportunities for leagues, tournaments, programming, and community engagement in the future.

We appreciate Senator Orr’s partnership and support in helping invest in amenities that enhance quality of life and give residents even more ways to enjoy the outdoors.

📢 City of Hartselle Labor Day Holiday Schedule

The City of Hartselle wishes everyone a safe and happy Labor Day weekend! In observance of Labor Day, all non-emergency City offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Please note the following garbage collection shcedule changes during Labor Day week:
•Monday through Wednesday garbage routes will run one day late.
•Thursday's garbage route will run on its regular schedule.

🌿There will be NO yard waste collection this week.
🏞️The landfill will be closed from Saturday, September 5, 2026, through Monday, September 7, 2026.

🇺🇸 We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Labor Day holiday as we honor the hard work and contributions of our workforce.
