Helping the people of our community and the surrounding local areas! Feeding Families of Alabama is located at Mt Tabor Non-Denominational Church, 373 Mt Tabor Rd, Hartselle, AL. Our Open Food Pantry is on the SECOND MONDAY OF EACH MONTH FROM 8:00 a.m. Although we are based in Hartselle, we do not draw imaginary boundaries with the people we help! If you are in need of food, and can get here on Op

en Pantry Day to pick it up, we will try to help. (Due to safety and financial reasons, we can not deliver food to anyone. Also, please note our hours listed. Please only come during open pantry hours.) We work on the Honor System here, we trust you to be honest with us, and only take food if you truly need it. We do not require documentation. All we ask if that if/when you get back on your feet again, and you see someone else in need, please pay it forward and try to help them out. We do not put harsh requirements on those we help. We believe in simply showing love and kindness to the world around us. EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE: Beginning January 2022, all emergency situations will be directed to our Blessing Boxes to get food. Remember that all assistance we offer, depends on whether we have food here to give out. We can only operate with donations from the community and surrounding areas. If we can't help you, it's not because we don't want to. It may be that we don't have any food left to give. At this time, we average helping about 200-300 people in need per week. That is a huge number, a lot of people in need. BLESSING BOXES: Blessing Boxes are located at
1. Forever Kate Boutique on Main St, Hartselle
2. Warehouse Coffee on Main St., Hartselle
3. First Baptist Church on Sparkman St, Hartselle (around the corner from Sparkman and across from Hometown Market)
NOTE! Please do NOT take out of the donation tubs at our Office door! Everyone who works here is an UNPAID VOLUNTEER. No one draws a paycheck. We do it all from our hearts. For information, please call the OFFICE phone. (Do not call my cell phone)
Office number is 256-754-5020. Remember that everyone who works here is a volunteer. We can not always keep daily hours in the office and have to come in whenever someone is available. Donations may be dropped off in the donation tubs provided outside our office door anytime. We have live security cameras on at all times. We know you are there, and donations are brought in quickly.

Courtesy post for Mt Tabor Cemetery!
You all know we had that really bad storm come through a few days ago…I didn’t post at that point because I knew everyone was dealing with downed trees and power outages.
But the storm blew so many flowers off the graves out here. It’s impossible for any of us to know what flowers go on what graves.
If you have loved ones buried out here at Mt Tabor, please come check on your flowers. Some will never be found, there’s many that blew off across the fields and into the woods. But there’s a lot laying all over the cemetery too. I’m sure families will want to try to track them down and put them back on the graves where they belong.
Please share with anyone you know who have loved ones buried out here.

Still needed for Feeding Families of Alabama Food Pantry that’s coming up this Monday!!
Chili is a good high protein addition for all the hot dogs we give out every month!
Or even just a bowl of chili to go with all the crackers we hand out!
We are still way away from our goal on this, if anyone can help out by donating some? It is so very appreciated!!
*** This is also a good meal for our homeless folks!!
Just drop your donations in the tubs provided at our office door any day, before 5:00 p.m. even if the office is closed. The security cameras tell us you’re dropping off and a volunteer will get there quickly to take items inside.
THANK YOU!!!
