C**t Government 1911 A1.

Customer brought it in and wanted to maintain the original configuration as far as the frame style, but wanted to add some modern features such as the improved combat hammer, drop in beavertail grip safety (requires no modification to the frame), VZ Grips, trigger, sear, disconnector, replaced and tuned the recoil spring for faster target acquisition, added a a flared magwell mainspring housing, and a KENSIGHT front tritium sight to modernize the style of the gun. All these features, can be reversed and returned to the original configuration. The ignition parts are Wilson Combat and are part of their value line.
