Morgan County Soil & Water Conservation District

Morgan County Soil & Water Conservation District We believe in Conservation from the Ground Up. Local people know best what’s good for their community. And local farmers know best what’s good for their land.

The Morgan County Soil and Water Conservation District, a legal entity of the State of Alabama, is responsible for providing leadership in conservation and development of our natural resources. The role of conservation districts is to support land users and connect them to the resources they need to be good stewards. We work to promote healthy soil, fishable and drinkable water, sustainable forest
