Per the VT State Forests Department and the Hartland Fire Warden, at this time, there is NO outside burning of any sort, including campfires/firepits due to extremely dry conditions until further notice. Thank you.

Even with the small amount of recent rainfall, conditions are still very dry. Per Hartland's Fire Warden, we are still not issuing burn permits at this time. There is no rain shown in the forecast in the near future, and dry conditions will remain an issue.
