Summer Reading is almost here, and there's an AMAZING handmade T-Rex in the Youth department, ready to help you find your new favorite books! 🦖 The trouble is, our dino friend is looking for a name. Now through June 6, we invite you to leave a comment giving us your ideas for naming the dinosaur and why you think it's the perfect name, and we'll use one to make our T-Rex a special name tag! The winner of this mini contest will receive a Cromaine swag pack. 😎

Kick off the Summer Reading Challenge with us on Saturday, June 6 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm! This year's Summer Reading theme is "Unearth A Story", and we're looking forward to an afternoon of dinosaur bean bag toss and dinosaur crafts galore, sure to satisfy even the most dino-loving kid. 🎉🦖 Plus, sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge while you’re here!

Not into dinosaurs? Join us anyway! We have plenty of summer fun for all interests, from treasure hunting to flower pot decorating, pendant creation, mummy making, snacks, and more!

⚠ Hartland drivers, please note! ⚠

From Monday, June 1 through Wednesday, June 17, Old US 23 will be closed from M-59 to Crouse Road-- but you can still access the Library during construction!

Visit Cromaine from the South by taking Hartland Road from M-59, heading around the Meijer and into the Village. Or, enter from the North by taking Hartland Road from Clyde Road.

Please be aware that US-23 from M-59 to Crouse will be closed to thru-traffic. Local access will be maintained from the northerly project limits ONLY. No access will be permitted from the south. Please follow the posted detour route during construction.

Mark your calendar for this year's Community Health Fair, on Thursday, June 4 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Hartland Senior Activity Center! 😍 This free community event for adults aged 50+ features a wide variety of local health-related resources, offering valuable information on wellness, fitness, preventive care, and services available in the area. Attendees have the opportunity to speak directly with professionals in the field, ask questions, and gather helpful materials.

In addition to health information, the event will include giveaways and prize drawings-- and Cromaine staff will be there, too! Be sure to stop by and let us know what you're currently reading, and get all the updates on our exciting rotation of summer programming.

This event is open to the public aged 50+, and all are welcome to attend. For more information, please call the Hartland Senior Activity Center at (810) 626-2135. We can't wait to see you there!
