This state grant program is providing funding to towns and cities so that we can make infrastructure improvements that improve pedestrian safety and access, strengthening our town centers and supporting the businesses in these areas. Glad we could get this done.

We’re excited to announce the 8th round of CTDOT’s Community Connectivity Grant Program, awarding $10.8 million to 17 towns and cities across Connecticut.

These grants will help communities build safer, more accessible infrastructure, including new sidewalks and bike connections.

Thank you to the Office of Governor Ned Lamont and our local partners for their continued commitment to these important investments.

The World Cup is coming to North America this summer, and there is no better way to celebrate the world’s most popular sport during America’s 250th anniversary.

But you don’t have to go far to watch professional soccer in Connecticut. Come support the men’s and women’s Hartford Athletic teams this year. It was great to team up with a couple players to spread the word, let’s pack the stands!⚽️🇺🇸

I was able to visit the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford — the oldest school for the deaf in the country.

Incredibly proud that Connecticut is home to this institution and the students, educators, and staff who make it extraordinary.

The bill I signed today makes it easier to prosecute hate crimes. But we also need to make it easier for victims to report them.

I’m proud to support the Connecticut Hate Crimes Advisory Council’s public awareness campaign: “Hate is More than a Word… It May Be a Crime.”

If you believe you’ve been the victim of a hate crime, report it to your local police department or visit reporthate.ct.gov.

This month we celebrate inclusivity, diversity, and most importantly the right to love whoever you love. Connecticut has always stood up for the LGBTQ+ community and we always will.

Happy Pride Month. 🏳️‍🌈

CT keeps leading on gun safety‼️

This morning I signed legislation banning the sale and importation of fi****ms that can be easily converted into automatic machine guns. Tonight I will join the Junior Newtown Action Alliance for a rally on National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

June is here, and we’re celebrating 🏳️‍🌈

Connecticut is a place where everyone belongs, where you can live your truth, love who you love, and be exactly who you are. Happy Pride Month to the LGBTQ+ community across our state.

The federal government is making it harder for families to access the food they need.

Connecticut is stepping up. When our neighbors lose SNAP benefits, we’re there with grocery assistance to make sure no one in our state goes hungry.

We will always fight for Connecticut.
