This week, a public act creating real protections against the misuse of AI while preparing workers, students, businesses, and public institutions for an AI-enabled future was signed into law.

This law aims to combat youth social media addiction, protects residents from harmful AI chatbot interactions and requires applicants to be notified when AI is used in the hiring process. It also promotes a responsible AI workforce and boosts economic development.
