There is a text scam targeting Connecticut residents which appears to be from the DMV. Check out their post and remember that a government agency will never send a payment demand by text.

Please be aware that scam text messages about unresolved traffic citations are currently circulating. These messages are fraudulent. We do not notify residents via text regarding the status of unpaid violations. If you receive such a message, please ignore and delete it.
