Last week we celebrated the completion of one of seven solar projects being installed at the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System schools! 🎊With the support from the Connecticut Green Bank, Connecticut Department of Administrative Services, and Verogy, Cheney Technical High School completed their installation of a 756.8 kW solar carport. It is great to see all the hard work that went into this project come to life!☀️

Another successful beach clean up is in the books! 🌊With Ocean Recovery Community Alliance - ORCA and Connecticut Innovations, we collected 318 pounds of trash at Fort Hale Fishing Pier in New Haven. It was a great way to close out Earth Month, looking forward to next year!🌍

On Earth Day, we celebrated the release of the Bridgeport ParkScore report at the Mary & Eliza Freeman Center for History and Community Gallery in Bridgeport 🎊 This event celebrated the hard work that Trust for Public Land, in partnership with Connecticut Green Bank, PT Power - PT Partners, the City of Bridgeport, and local residents and community-based organizations put in to evaluate and analyze Bridgeport's parks. We are honored to have a part in this important project and to spend Earth Day in "The Park City" of Connecticut!
